I fell in love with Bradford Washburn during Parks and was crushed when he died. He was the sweetest old man.
Yes! He was great. My first documentary love was Quentin Aanenson from The War. I didn’t find out that he’d died until a while after, though. He was actually here at the editing house once, but I couldn’t introduce myself. There’s been a couple deaths on Dust Bowl already (the guy I just posted is still alive and well, though), which were very sad. Thankfully Central Park Five is full of young people, so we should be safe for a while.
I have this unfortunate rationalization where I’ll be like, “wow, my stomach is pretty flat, I’m looking pretty good today. So I guess that means I can eat this cup of mac and cheese after my steak sub.”
So the company that I work at is relatively small. Throughout maybe four offices, there are about 30 of us, total, and that’s probably high-balling it.
I started her nearly seven years ago as an intern. In that time, I think four of my coworkers have gotten married. Five have had kids (eight kids total). It’s like I watched my company grow up or something.
