Bry popped the question in September and we have done zero work to plan our wedding since then. Mostly because we don’t really have a lot of cash for a wedding (but who does) and are just kind of avoiding dealing with it. We do have our photographers picked out, but haven’t actually picked a date yet or locked them down totally. We just know when they start being available (middle of October, because everyone else has already planned their wedding for before then, of course).
About a month ago, one of my bridesmaids visited and brought me a giant The Knot catalog and the next day Bryant’s mom visited and brought us an NH weddings magazine. So that’s some gentle prodding. I’m actually pretty stressed about the whole wedding thing…if we could just get a venue, I would feel so much better. I finally emailed my first venue earlier this week and they don’t do weddings in October because they’re harvesting apples. Maybe we should just get married in November so I don’t have to find another venue I like…
Meanwhile, Bry and I are trying to start a company and make a feature length doc by ourselves. GOOD PLAN.
Sorry for such a long response to such an innocent “congrats”!
She’s pretty cute. >^..^<
Okay, what if I got married in the winter and wore a faux fur capelet?
There are like four months you can get married in New England and we missed the boat on all of them.
Mermaid by Sergey Kolesov
Ok, that’s fucking terrifying and cool.
woah I love this interpretation of mermaids. not human sized, but the size of like a blue whale
oh my god i never even considered this. this is bad ass
And another thing to put in my collection of reasons not to go near natural bodies of water.
I wouldn’t say I’m attracted to Penn Jillette, because that feels weird. But I’m kind of into Drell.
Another day at the office. #assistantkitty
