I always get an attitude when some of my coworkers go on vacation or “take a day”. I’m staunchly pro-vacation on a, like, human rights level, but I definitely give people the stink eye about it anyway. I don’t really know why. “Vacation” somehow implies to me that you’ve worked too hard or just need some time to decompress or any of those other work platitudes, and I just don’t buy it from certain folks here.
