Roseanne Reunion of the Day: John Goodman is reportedly one dotted i away from signing on to reunite with Roseanne Barr for a new sitcom called Downwardly Mobile.
Deadline says the former Roseanne star is in “final negotiations” to co-lead the series co-created by Barr, her boyfriend John Argent, and former Roseanne executive produce Eric Gilliland.
The show itself involves a mobile home park proprietor (Barr) who plays “surrogate mother” to its residents. Goodman is set to play a park employee who has a “buddy relationship” with Barr.
If Downwardly Mobile gets picked up, it will air on NBC.
