Day 15 - Someone you wish you could meet.
Truman Capote, even though I’m sure I would bore him to tears. I love his writing. It’s so great to find those sentences that you need to read a couple of times because they’re so perfect and feel so good in your head, and then to find an author who writes exclusively in those sentences?
Granted, I’ve yet to read a word of his fiction, but I love his non-fiction so much- In Cold Blood and his essays. I love how odd he is, but that he can mix and mingle with every type of person and come away with a wonderful story. He seems open to any experience and encounter, and never afraid to meet someone or go somewhere and trust in what’s going to happen.
