Day 38 - Crazy costume.
Well, maybe not crazy. Maybe lazy.
I threw a birthday party for my best friend Stefan and suggested that everyone dress as things he like. I dressed as Rimmer from Red Dwarf (less “dressed as” and more “made a tin foil “H’ for my forehead”). Better costumes included a man dressed as Lorelai Gilmore, a woman dressed as a keyboard, and a guy as the Celeste pizza guy. You know. These little Celestees pizzas.
Anyway.
Day 37 - Looking silly.
Bryant took this photo of me when I was getting my nose pierced. Apparently they stick a cork up your nose during this process. It also makes you cry a bunch. I hear.
Day 36 - Brothers or sisters.
I am an only child. I give you instead my sister-cat Daisy.
Day 34 - Your favorite hang out spot.
Well, honestly, home. But in an attempt to be interesting, I’ll say my old dive bar from college, Kilkenny’s. I still live a ten minute walk away from it, but it’s not the same.
I used to go there all the time with my film friends in school, especially after Independent Film Foundation on Tuesday nights. Then after I graduated, I tried to see if you could party until 2:30am and suddenly turn into a professional at 9am. Failed experiment.
Anyway. This is Kilkenny’s.
Day 33 - A fun activity.
KARAOKE.
All of these photos are from the Early Days of Karaoke, when a bunch of us used to do it at the VFW every goddamn Friday.
Day 32 - A funny memory.
I don’t especially feel like telling the story of a funny memory today. In lieu of that, I offer you this photo of me from like four years ago, dressed as Kelly from the “Shoes” video.
I’m sure there’s a funny memory associated with this somehow.
Day 31 - Awe.
I don’t have any photos of me or anyone I know expressing actual awe, so I’m going to instead interpret this as “awww!” and give you photos of my cat and boyfriend, my Nana as an octopus, and my friend’s son in a baseball hat.
Day 30 - A picture of someone you miss.
I would have to go with Andy, my biffle from high school (pictured at left, with another close high school friend, Darren). He lives in DC so I only see him once or twice a year. I’ve posted photos from this trip before- Darren and I drove to DC last fall for an awesome visit.
