Reading my favorite childhood series over from the beginning. If you’ve never read A Wrinkle in Time I’d definitely recommend it.
i’m so excited to finally be able to post these! we’ve had a long-term assignment over the past few weeks for my what’s your story class to illustrate three scenes from a book or story of our choice—i picked Madeleine L’Engle’s classic A Wrinkle in Time, probably the most formative and precious book of my childhood.
Across the Universe: A Wrinkle in Time Revisited - The Barnes & Noble Review
I know I’ve posted about my love for “A Wrinkle in Time” on G+, but this article brought me back to how special these books were to me when I first read them in middle school. Despite the article’s author arguments that the sequels fell far short of the first, I loved the whole quartet specifically for their differences (admittedly I own but never read “An Acceptable Time,” bad Megan!)
I also still haven’t read An Acceptable Time. The first three are all amazing and I felt like they grew with me. I read Many Waters summer before last and thought it was okay. It didn’t rouse any of the old feelings in me or anything, but it was all right. I put down An Acceptable Time within the first thirty pages and haven’t picked it up again.

30 Day Book Challenge: Day Two - a book you’ve read more than three times
A Wrinkle in Time by Madeline L’EngleI’m not much of a re-reader I have to admit, but I’ve owned this book since I was very little. I have always loved this book. It’s full of magic, mystery, and the wise words of Mrs. Who. I would sit and read it over and over again until I’d memorized all of my favorite parts. I wish I had the opportunity now to re-read it again. It’s just a delight to get to read.
All photos by me.
