I’m sort of all set on books to read right now, but if anyone knows any good true crime books that I haven’t read, let me know…
I’ve read In Cold Blood, Helter Skelter, Zodiac, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil (which I never even thought of as a true crime/mystery book), The Devil in the White City, and Columbine.
The books I listed were all really good and really well-written. I’ve started some others that I just can’t get into because they don’t have any style. I haven’t tried Ann Rule’s book, just because there are so many and I worry they’re just pulpy and shallow. I’m sort of interested in reading something about the whole Waco thing, but I haven’t found much.
I can’t wait for the doc to come out. Ugh.

The Clutter family; Herbert, Bonnie, Nancy (16) and Kenyon (15).
I find these pictures hard to look at.
Amen.
I saw a trailer recently with Sharon Tate. Similar reaction.
EDIT: Bryant just asked me what I was looking at, and I was like, “The Clutters,” and he shook his head and gave me a, “wtf?” look. Fair enough.
